Shortcutz Berlin #104 Session – March 11th


The the second round of competition shorts of the month of March includes the following shorts:

Short #1: “Taipei Recyclers“, by Nikki Schuester

Synopsis: Taipei – ghosts and gods, typhoon and nakasi musicians. In the urban hideouts of Taipei little creatures come to life. These are digitally composed with collected waste from the streets and typical local products. The clatter of the limbs of these creatures interacts with the soundscapes of Taipei.

Short #2: “Cat and Mouse“, by Anthony Straeger

Synopsis: A short picture story by Willhelm Busch.

The Special Guest of the evening is Santiago Gomez Rojas, the programmer of the Spanisches Filmfest Berlin.

The Guest Short is “0,60 mg“, by Gerard Martí Rodríguez

Synopsis: Carkoma and his friends laugh at Copito and bully him; meanwhile, Dani and Ainhoa have a quarrel once more. They all were leaving the disco when they unexpectedly found themselves trapped in a police sobriety checkpoint. Will they come through?
