This Week’s Guest Short: “Frischluft-Therapie by Christoph Scheermann

Synopsis: Two women – in the prime of their lives – are sitting on the therapist’s couch. When the lights go off. What the therapist tries for months, is achieved by a sudden incident in the dark. The ladies came to let off some steam. So they do. Alone in the dark. The therapy happens in a quite unexpected way.

Our Special Guest for this week is award-winning director Gabriela Tscherniak.Gabriela completed a number of shorts during her studies at Central St Martins in London, Pratt Institute New York and American Film Institute (AFI) in Los Angeles.  Her works also include the award-winning youth drama, BERLIN NIGHTS and the  Psycho – Thriller “Sound Hunter” by LA based production company Kings Road Entertainment. Gabriela has been successfully directing for network television in Russia. In 2007 she was the creative producer and director of the A-media Moscow TV series TUNGUS METEORITE she also directed several episodes of the Russian adaptation of FOX TV’s “Married with Children”. In 2008 Gabriela was selected with another eight European director’s to prepare a fiction-documentary pitch for the European Space Agency ESA and won. She was invited a 2nd time to direct also ESA’s commercial spots.

Come and join us at the Filmkunst Bar FitzcarraldoReichenberger Straße 133 in Kreuzberg. The session starts as always at 8:30 pm and the screening at 9 pm. Entrance is and will remain free.
