Synopsis: The narrative starting point of DER ADLER IST FORT (The eagle is gone) – Three People wandering, around or working at Berlin’s Alexanderplatz on a freezing cold night orchestrated by TARWATER – becomes an impetus for revisiting iconography first emerging with Expressionism; the alienated metropolis of the Somnambulist, the lyrical poeticism of the sleepless city experienced in the context of today.
Our Special Guest for this week is director JEAN-JULIEN POUS, who is going to talk to us about his work and screen three of his shorts:
“Drift Away”, “Seeking You” and ” Switch”.
Please join us at the Filmkunst Bar Fitzcarraldo, Reichenberger Straße 133 in Kreuzberg. The session starts as always at 8:30 pm and the screening at 9 pm. Entrance is and will remain free. See you all on Thursady!
