Synopsis: Times of senseless consumption and unnatural living, a superficial bubble explodes, giving birth to a new hope, clarity and awareness. The film was shot in Iceland; in the city of Reykjavik and throughout untouched natural landmarks around the island.

This Week’s Guest Short: “Bawke” by Hisham Zaman
Synopsis: They have been on the run for a long time, a man and his very young son. When they reach their destination, they realize they are still in trouble. In the end the father is forced to make a choice of two evils to provide for his sons future.
Our Special Guest for this week is Thorid Zänker, director, and librarian at the Deutsche Kinemathek. She is part of Europe’s first self-organized film school, filmArche, that she will present during her intervention. During the session, she will also present an extract of her most recent film, Bis ans Ende eure Tage. A movie between love and mariage as a necessity, a political act.
