Shortcutz Berlin – Session #01 (February 3)

After Lisbon, Porto and London, we are very proud to announce our first Shortcutz session in Berlin.

This Week’s Competition Shorts are:

Short #1: “Meine Sascha” by Markus Kaatsch
Synopsis: A film about young and old love in a simple, touching drama. Weightless the film glides along on passion and approaches the painful realization of having missed an important moment forever.

Short #2: “Perspective” by Dave Lojek
Synopsis: A student, a goddess and a dog meet under quaint circumstances in a turned world. This miniature can be read as a metaphor about tunnel vision and the muse it takes to wake up.

This Week’s Guest Short: “Armer schwarzer Kater” by Thomas M. Bausenwein
Synopsys: The somewhat lazy Benjamin is just about to be fired from easyfly and must prove in the last day of his probation that he has what it takes to be a Duty Officer. Therefore, he has to solve the trouble of getting the lost cat box back to strict Mrs Ponti. However, after the painstaking tracking down of the box, the stress really begins: The cat is in fact dead…

Our Special Guest for this week is Andie Pires, Executive Producer of Shortcutz Network, who will be here in Berlin to introduce the project.
